 Misbah-ul-Haq Khan Niazi (Urdu: مصباح الحق) (born may 28, 1974) - a Pakistani cricket coach and former international cricketer. Misbah-Ul-haq has captained Pakistan in test cricket and One-day Internationals (ODIs). Misbah-Ul-haq is a modern head teacher and a previous selector of Pakistan team leaders across the country. A late bloomer, Misbah-ul-haq developed into a first-class centre-order batsman, recognized for his composure with the bat, as well as having the ability to be an aggressive big-shot player when needed. Misbah-Ul-haq scored the fastest fifty in Test cricket and set a whole new record for the fastest test hundred and holds the record for most career ODI runs without a century. Misbah-Ul-haq holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from the University of Management and Technology in Lahore, Punjab. After announcing his retirement from cricket in 2015, Misbah-Ul-haq played test cricket for several years. On 4 April 2017, Misbah-Ul-haq announced his retirement from all international cricket following the conclusion of the West Indies tour. Misbah-Ul-haq retired from all codecs of Global Cricket on 14 May 2017.Misbah grew up in Mianwali in Punjab, Pakistan. His father, Abdul Qudus Niyazi, was a teacher who died at the early age of Misbah. Misbah is part of Niazi's own non-Pashto-speaking family; Pakistani cricketer and current Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan is a distant relative. In his early years, Misbah played ribbon ball cricket for his homeland, but his parents insisted that he get a very good education, and he completed his bachelor's degree in Faisalabad. He then enrolled at the University of Management and Technology to pursue an MBA. Misbah eventually made his debut in 1998 at the age of 24 for Sargodha. Misbah was immediately selected for the Pakistan test team in 2001 and the AUDI cricket team in 2002. Misbah  married Uzma Khan in 2004. The couple has two children.

Misbah was no longer the most successful achievement at the global level, but also at the domestic stage. His 2012 home season of thirteen turned into a memorable one. He captained the Faisalabad Wolves in the Twenty20 home match and the SNGPL in the first-elegant and list-a home tournament. First, he led SNGPL to victory in the President's Trophy against HBL Yunus Khan, and then Faisalabad Wolves won the Super-8 Faysal Bank against Shoaib Malik's Sialkot stallions in the last match. Misbah won all domestic tournaments (Twenty20, Great and list-A) in the 2012-13 season.

Misbah played in season 1 of the 2008 Indian Premier League for Royal Challengers Bangalore, while he played in the Sri Lankan Premier League for Kandurata Warriors in 2012. And he also represented the Saint Lucia Zooks in the 2013 Caribbean Premier League season. He also performed for Abhani in Bangladesh.Misbah revealed that he was offered a one-year contract through Worcestershire County Cricket Club to play in the English County Championship from 2013, but turned it down due to clashes with his international commitments. In 2015, Misbah signed with Rangpur Racers to play in the third edition of the Bangladesh Premier League. He has made the decision to play so as to stay fit and healthy for the upcoming test series with England in July 2016. In his most effective first sport for the Rangpur riders, Misbah scored 61 runs, smashing 4 sixes and winning his team's game by chasing a significant 187. It turned into a proposed Man of the Match award for performances.

Although he made his international debut back in 2001, his step up came when he was selected for the ICC World T20. On 6 April 2017, Misbah finally announced his intentions to retire from all-world cricket after completing a tour of the West Indies. He played his last global suit on 10 May 2017 in the West Indies at Roseau. He scored his 39th test score during the first innings, but ignored just 2 runs in 2 innings. However, in his final match as captain, Pakistan won the suit via one hundred and one runs and sealed the collection with a score of 2-1.  The victory was marked as the collection's first ever win against West Indies in the West Indies, as Nietzsche.

On 4 September 2019, Misbah was appointed as the Chief Instructor of the Pakistan cricket team in addition to the Chief Selector on a 3-12 month agreement. This is the first time someone has held all positions at the same time in Pakistani cricket. It all started well for Misbah, who won the one-day international series 2-0. But then, as part of the T20 collection, Sri Lanka achieved an unexpected result and whitewashed Pakistan.
