But in the long run, they fell short of the goal of one hundred and eighty with the help of 7 runs. But in the subsequent sport, towards defending champions Islamabad United. In the end, the crew managed to sit down at the negotiating table. The victory came here thanks to the Duckworth-Lewis method, because the Kings were ahead by a nominal score of 8 runs, while the returning rain forced the abandonment of an already thirteen-year-old healthy. In their final game of the match in Sharjah, the Kings continued their winning streak to pass Peshawar Zalmi in a thrilling contest. With a goal of one hundred and seventy-five, the Kings reduced Zalmi's number to sixty-nine-6 before Shahid Afridi and Darren Sammy teamed up in a 70-year partnership that almost brought Zalmi into the sport. However, the Kings ' bowling eventually prevailed and earned their team a 9-round victory. When the event returned to Dubai, the Kings were unable to maintain their winning streak and lost to the Canteens, the Quetta Gladiators, by 6 wickets. Batting first, the Kings set a target of one hundred and fifty-five runs, which they were unable to defend despite three wickets from pacer Sohail Khan. The loss sent the Karachi Kings back to the bottom of the table. However, in the subsequent game, which eventually became mandatory for every participating team, the Kings managed to win over their rivals, the Lahore Qalandars, in a thrilling final-ball finish. Chasing 156, the group claimed 10 runs off the final balls, which Kieron Pollard conceded with the bottom sixes to keep his team alive during the match.

Gale set the pace with his lightning strike of 44 from a paltry 17 balls. Gale's knock and Pollard's finish helped Karachi win this stumble in Islamabad.Consequently, Karachi once again faced Islamabad inside the eliminator. In what turned out to be an exciting sport, Karachi, batting first, scored a measly 126 points, fully executing the method. Islamabad turned around in the set to win and advance to the second playoff. However, this was not the case, as the second innings showed. The Karachi bowlers outshone the Islamabad bowlers with Muhammad Amir, Imad Wasim and Osama Mir each taking 3 wickets. Islamabad was all set for a paltry 82 runs, the lowest in the match and the second-highest in the tournament's history. Thus, the reigning champions were knocked out, and Karachi survived the day in the match and qualified for the second playoff.
